Aims and Scope (from publisher): The Journal of Psychiatry Spectrum is an open access, peer-reviewed Journal published in print and online bi-annually. It is an official scientific publication of the Indian Psychiatric Society Karnataka Chapter (IPS-KC) (www.ipskc.com). The Journal does not charge any fee for article submission, processing, or publication either in print or electronic.

The Journal publishes papers on all aspects of the clinical practice and research in Psychiatry, including its subspecialties and allied specialties. It provides a platform for researchers and scientists to disseminate their work and share scientific knowledge. The Journal focuses on empirical and original research, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis. It considers reviews, qualitative studies, interesting and novel case reports/series, and letters to the editor. Viewpoints/commentaries/perspectives may be related to policies, public health, legislation, service development, and service evaluation. The Journal also publishes book and art reviews, public mental health education, clinical service perspectives, and masterclass/grand rounds for ongoing learning.

The Journal's target readership includes Psychiatrists, other Medical Specialties, and Allied Mental Health Professionals.
