Aims and Scope (from publisher): Psicologia & Sociedade is the biannual journal of the Brazilian Society of Social Psychology - ABRAPSO. Mission is to publish original articles that highlight research and theory at the interface of psychology and society, those that take a posture towards Social Psychology that is critical, transformative, and interdisciplinary. The journal was founded in 1986 and ran until 1992. Publication resumed in 1996 with Volume 8, Number 1, under the direction of an Editorial Board which answered to the National Directorship of ABRAPSO. The journal's objective is to publish original articles whose themes highlight research and theory at the interface of psychology and society, those that take a posture towards Social Psychology that is critical, transformative, and interdisciplinary. The journal publishes theoretical essays, research reports, book reviews, interviews, and abstracts of theses and dissertations.
