Aims and Scope (from publisher): Die Forensische Psychiatrie, Psychologie, Kriminologie versteht sich als Forum für die wissenschaftliche Erörterung der Ursachen und Folgen von Straffälligkeit. Im Zentrum steht dabei die Frage, wie die Beziehung ist zwischen Personen, sozialem Umfeld und Delinquenz. Dabei geht es um Strafverfolgung, Begutachtung, Intervention und Prävention.

Die Forensische Psychiatrie, Psychologie, Kriminologie möchte zum interdisziplinären Dialog auffordern zwischen den Rechtswissenschaften auf der einen und den psychiatrisch-psychotherapeutisch-psychologisch-kriminologisch tätigen Disziplinen auf der anderen Seite. Dabei geht es um die Entwicklung und Diskussion neuer Konzepte sowie um die Förderung und Sicherung der Qualität der forensischen Begutachtung, der Täterbehandlung und des strafrechtlichen Umgangs mit delinquent gewordenen Menschen.
