Aims and Scope (from publisher): International Journal of Earth Sciences Knowledge and Applications (IJESKA) is an open access peer-reviewed scholarly journal aiming to publish high quality research and review articles mainly in the scope of Earth Sciences. This journal is concerned with original research, new developments, site measurements and case studies on earth sciences in different areas (geology, geophysics, mining, geomorphology, etc.). "Original Research Articles" and "Technical Notes" are accepted paper types. The new ideas, supporting studies or preliminary results of existing techniques are considered as Technical Note. Technical Notes are generally shorter than articles and do not need to include the Abstract section in these type of papers. In addition, “Critical Reviews” provides some contributions by criticizing previous work or a topic and “Discussions” about the articles published in the journal may also be presented. However, “Discussions” related to “Technical Notes” are not included in the journal.
