Aims and Scope (from publisher): Jurnal Sosiologi Dialektika (JSD) is open access, peer-reviewed and scientific journal published by Universitas Airlangga, in collaboration with The Indonesian Association of Women/Gender & Child Studies (Id: Asosiasi Pusat Studi Wanita/Gender & Anak se Indonesia - ASWGI).The objective of Jurnal Sosiologi Dialektika (JSD) is to publish outstanding and original articles which advance the theoretical understanding of, and promote and report empirical research about the widest range of sociological topics including gender, social development, family and relationship, democracy, conflict, children welfare, social movement, urban and rural society. The journal encourages, and welcomes, submission of papers which report findings using both quantitative and qualitative research methods; articles challenging conventional concepts and proposing new conceptual approaches; and accounts of methodological innovation and the research process. This journal has been certified as a Scientific Journal, accredited third grade (Sinta 3 or S3) for five years (2020-2024) by the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (RISTEKDIKTI).
