Aims and Scope (from publisher): Journal of Hunan University (Natural Sciences)is a comprehensive core academic journal in natural sciences. Sponsored by Hunan University under the charge of China's Ministry of Education, it has won prizes such as "A Hundred Key Journals" in the Second National Periodicals Awards of China, and "Hunan's Top Ten Periodicals in Science and Technology". It has been indexed as a source periodical by the Engineering Information (EI) Compendex Database.

As a monthly periodical,Journal of Hunan University (Natural Sciences)is published on 28th of each month.
