Aims and Scope (from publisher): Latin American Law Review is an academic and open access journal, published two times a year, from the School of Law at Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and The Division of Legal Studies at The Center for Research and Teaching in Economics CIDE (Mexico). The Latin American Law Review is aimed towards an academic interdisciplinary audience. The journal seeks to publish research results from the forefront of legal scholarship that will have some interest for Latin America. Furthermore, we seek to promote theoretical and empirical contributions to the study of law, as well as foster new research agendas and analysis about the region, beyond the disciplinary constraints of the legal discipline. Finally, we are looking to engage both academics in practitioners in a dialogue that advances the practice of law in Latin America.

The journal is a biannual publication, published in February and August. The Journal publishes unpublished articles in Spanish and English. All of its digital contents are of open access through its website.
