The Journal „Applied research in health and social sciences: interface and interaction" is provided by the Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania) and is published form 2005 year.
The Journal „Applied research in health and social sciences: interface and interaction" is the multidisciplinary in its scientific nature. In the Journal are welcommed theoretical (conceptual) and empirical (quantitative, qualitative or mixed design) articles with the focus on social sciences (education, management, administration, communication, law, sociology, anthropology, social work, psychology, economics) and health sciences (nursing, public health, physical therapy, kinesitherapy, rehabilitation, midwifery, nutrition, physical education).
In recent years there has been a rapid growth of multidisciplinary research all over the world. As a result, researchers have identified a need to take a more targeted and intensive reesarch focus and establish a virtual bridge between different disciplines and different research schools. In so doing, the Journal seeks to engender collaboration between variety of research traditions and cultures. The Journal „Applied research in health and social sciences: interface and interaction" acts as a disciplinary border transgressor amd tje research dialogue-based forum to encourage dialogue between researchers in different disciplines.
The Journal is essential reading for both international researchers with interests in multidisciplinary research and practitioners seeking alternative perspectives on multidisciplinary social and health practices.
