Aims and Scope (from publisher): Culture and Brain covers such topics such as how the mutual interaction between culture and brain/mind influences human cognition and behavior, what mechanisms underlie cultural experiences, and how the cultural diversity of human collectives is created.

The range of disciplines is expansive, including neuroscience, brain imaging, neurobiology, epigenetics, evolutionary biology, social psychology, cultural/cross-cultural psychology, anthropology, sociology, and philosophy. Research articles examine how interactions between the human brain and sociocultural contexts shape cognitive functions and their neural mechanisms. Review articles present new concepts and theories about the mutual influences between the human brain and sociocultural environments.
