Abstract

Recently, cases of drug-induced liver injury (DILI) by diet suplements including so-called health foods and herbal medicines have increased in Japan. The present status of DILI by supplements (such as agaricus extract, ao-jiru, curcuma longa extract, fukodain, ganoderma lucidum extract, Ganoderma Lucidum, garlic extract, Kin-Kei-gan, and Russian chaga) is discussed.
