Abstract

In their meta-analysis, the Childhood Trauma Meta-Analysis Study Group highlight that patients with major depressive disorder or elevated depressive symptoms with a history of childhood trauma have an improvement in symptoms after pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments that is similar to patients with major depressive disorder without childhood trauma.
