Abstract

To the Editor We read with interest the study by Elgar et al1 on the association of early-life exposure to income inequality with bullying in adolescence, specifically at ages 11, 13, and 15 years. Based on the study, early-life income inequality from birth to 4 years was positively associated with being bullied and also associated with dual involvement in being bullied and bullying others. This effect was observed in an analysis that controlled for the later effects of exposure to income inequality at ages 11, 13, and 15 years...
