Abstract

In this paper, we study the discrete vehicular traffic flow in the deterministic limit, using periodic boundary conditions, we project some statistical concepts on the characteristics of the flow. Based on the information entropy of the velocity states of the traffic and using standard model of free flow and congested phases, we present a value of density where the velocity values of the system have the same probability.
