Abstract

Rural highways have the characteristics of small traffic volume, low technical level and low service level, and their primary goals are safety and smooth traffic flow. The main distress they face is road surface damage, and it is very important to study the decay of rural highway performance. Based on the historical data of rural road pavement in a city, this paper constructs short-term and long-term forecasting models for road performance of rural highways by comparing the big data-predicting model with the general predicting model.
