Abstract

In the Forensic Pathology section of the Department of Legal Medicine autopsies are performed by multiple wounds by shells fired by firearm, where the incidence of the same, has been in growth over time. This article is intended to make a review of the lesions produced by these projectiles and establish a management protocol of these cases in the section. ::: En la Sección de Patología Forense del Departamento de Medicina Legal se realizan múltiples autopsias por heridas por proyectiles disparados por arma de fuego, donde la incidencia de los mismos ha ido en crecimiento con el tiempo. Este artículo pretende hacer un repaso de las lesiones producidas por estos proyectiles y establecer un manejo protocolizado de estos casos en la Sección.
