Abstract

On November 4, 1996 a man reported that his wife committed suicide. To know whether this is true, investigators reconsructed the crime scene. Recreations, live and computer simulated, were made. The presence of gunshot residue (GSR) was also studied. After completing all necessary tests, investigators concluded that the victim's death could not have been the result of a suicide. Confronted with overwhelming evidence, the woman's husband pleaded guilty to killing her.
