Abstract

The views of Garry Trudeau on comic strips for newspapers in relation to Iraq war were presented. The author found that B.D. lost its position in Iraq among comics eliciting big responses. Trudeau also presented Nick Berg's videotaped murder which was late for many newspapers due to early Sunday-comic deadlines. The author also listed more than 700 people who died in Iraq as names had more effect instead of numbers.
