Abstract

Residents from a Fresno California neighborhood are protesting outside the home of an HIV-positive rapist released from a state mental hospital. The man, convicted of two rapes, has been HIV positive since 1986 and is not taking any medications, according to various sources. The residents say they plan to protest until he leaves in order to protect their children. However, it is illegal to harass a sex offender based on information the police release.
