Abstract

This paper first examines living arrangements for elderly which will facilitate intergenerational contacts with a minimum of energy to be used. Secondly the issue of the need of intergenerational contact on the part of the elderly population is explored. The final segment of the paper tells the story of intergenerational contact in the context of a program 'given in a home for the elderly. The conclusion of the paper is that intergenerational contact is successful when programs are better attended for the re-call program.
