Abstract

This is the second part of a three-part article on the contributions of microeconomic analysis to urban transportation planning. Part One surveyed urban transportation demand. Part Two examines urban transportation costs and develops a framework and methodology for analyzing preferences. The third part of the article considers models integrating demand and supply considerations.
