Abstract

Presents results from a projective technique study on the personality traits of adults who committed suicide. 34 Rorschach test and 22 Szondi test protocols from Belgian male and female psychiatric patients (aged 20-60 yrs) who committed suicide from 2 days to 20 yrs after testing are compared with protocols from a group of living psychiatric patients matched for age and gender. Data on narcissistic issues, suicidal ideation, impulsiveness, and epileptoid paroxysmal activity are highlighted. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
