Abstract

Discusses indications of suicidal thoughts in 5 pictures painted by a 37-yr-old woman who committed suicide. The paintings are described as showing rigid contact with reality, need for support, an impulsive disturbance, withdrawal, impulse emergence, dissolution of boundaries, and a sense of whirling towards death.
