Abstract

The need for a more general use of time-limited psychotherapy is argued, and an integrated approach - Cognitive Analytic Therapy - is briefly described. The 16 and 24 session therapies of two patients with extensive previous treatment histories are described, indicating the potential value of time-limited work in this model.
