Abstract

Conducted a retrospective study of personal-history data obtained with Association of Methodology and Documentation in Psychiatry (AMDP) system forms. Human subjects: 61 male and female German adults (mean age 35.6 yrs) (neurotic and reactive depression). 53 male and female German adults (mean age 27.9 yrs) (schizophrenia). 74 male and female German adults (mean age 27.8 yrs) (nondepressive neurosis). The frequency of 24 vital life events, suicide attempts, and secondary alcoholism and drug abuse was analyzed.
