Abstract

Discusses 3 theses concerning the relations that clinical psychologists and psychiatrists can establish with epidemiology. It is proposed that clinicians can suggest hypotheses to be tested in epidemiologic research, validate the results of epidemiologic research, and reflect on the integration of predictive knowledge in clinical practice.
