Abstract

Studied the factors distinguishing high-risk suicidal behaviors from other behaviors. Human subjects: 764 male and female French adolescents and adults (15-89 yrs) (suicide attempts). Demographic, clinical, and psychiatric data were obtained during clinical interviews. Tests used: Suicidal intent was measured with the Suicidal Intent Scale by D. W. Pierce (1977), and medical severity was measured with the Risk-Rescue Rating by A. Weissman and W. Worden (1972).
