Discusses the characteristics of Ss at high risk of attempting suicide: pathologic idealization, pathologic mourning, suicidal identification, melancholic personality (H. Tellenbach, 1979), nonacceptance of aging, prepsychotic or borderline states, violence, feeling of persecution, and an imaginary position with regard to death.
