Abstract

NURSES COULD be prosecuted if they help patients take their own lives, guidance from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirms. Nurses who assist a suicide are specifically highlighted in the guidance. They are named in the section that highlights any scenarios where there is a higher likelihood of prosecution.
