Abstract

Historical phenomenon, often concealed, self mutilation is frequentless than attempt to suicide. In military environment, these self mutilations put on a peculiar meaning. Proceeding from several examinations of service-men, the authors lay stress on the psycho-pathological and prognosing bearings of this behaviour.
