Abstract

The paper study the methods of suicide employed in the Federal Republic of Germany over the period 1979 to 1987. The author study percentages distribution of the differents methods: self poisoning, domestic gas, non-domestic gas, hanging, drowning, firearms, knives, jumping from height and other methods. Also incidences of individual suicide methods throughout this period.
