Abstract

The commentaries for these seven cases provide differing perspectives on the issues involved for the health care giver in relation to euthanasia and assisted suicide. No extreme views were voiced, i.e., suicide and euthanasia are never acceptable or suicide and euthanasia are acceptable upon demand. The commentaries reflect a multitude of clinical and ethical concerns embedded in each case scenario for the reflective clinician, but may have not addressed all the relevant issues for everyone.
