Abstract

Our study is both a theoretical approach and a statistical estimation of intrafamily aggressiveness (IFA). The ethological aspects of aggressiveness are explained using phylogenetic (intra and inter species aggressiveness), ontogenetic (individual acquisition) and actogenetic (compulsive personalities) criteria; aggressiveness resulting as a deviation from the normal socialization process of human behavior in one of its stages (imprinting, identification, social self fixation, engraving). The statistical analysis of FIA cases focuses on the number of violent episodes, lethal cases, age, kinship etc., sorting causes (compulsive personalities, sexual disturbances, poverty, social isolation, acculturation, frustration), forensic patterns (offenced children, offenced males/females, incest) and consequences (suicide, juvenile delinquency, divorce). Concluding our study we try to predict the future evolution of IFA and to set a few prevention guidelines.
