Abstract

A case report of a chronic bromide selfintoxication is used to describe the history of bromide abuses and the diagnostical problems. Bromide is a sedative drug, which was often used to commit suicide until these substances became prescriptive in 1978. Since 1978 reports have been few. The authors refers the clinical symptomatology and the treatment.
