Abstract

In this study, a 27-year-old-female attempted suicide by taking 20 gm of pure arsenic (Arsenicum). In addition to the classical visceral acute complications, she developed a severe neurological tetraplegia by peripheric injury associated with myelopathy and neuro-vegetative manifestations. The authors compare this observation with other studies worldwide.
