Abstract

Analysis of data for all twelve areas of the Indian Health Service yielded moderately strong positive zero-order correlations between household size and suicide/homicide rates. After controlling for poverty, first-order partial r's indicated that suicide and homicide rates among IHS areas are similar irrespective of household size. © 1992, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
