Abstract

The study deals with the analysis of all the sentences that one of the most prestigious databases collects on the suicide of the agents of the Civil Guard and of the members of the National Police and of the regional and local police. Through its examination it will be possible to appreciate the evolution in the relationship between the autolytic act and the professional risk over time, as well as the similarities and differences in its treatment both within each of the organizations, as well as according to the different types of claim (death and survival benefits or disability, improvements in social protection, insurance compensation or liability claims to the Employer Administration) and, in particular, of the specific jurisdictional order called to know about the causal connection. © 2022, Ediciones Laborum, S.L..
