Abstract

Murder-suicide events involving child victims can have a pernicious aftermath on survivors of the violence, family members and friends of the decedents, and the community. We present an unusual case report where a middle aged man had killed five family members and then committed suicide by hanging. Financial stress, illicit relationship with the sister in law and morbid jealousy had probably triggered this disastrous event © 2022, Journal of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine.All Rights Reserved.
