Abstract

This retrospective study, pursuing the objective of assessing the efficaciousness of the system for registering and recording cases of suicides and attempted suicides committed in Tyumen between 2012 and 2020, submits the analysis of the work carried out in the Suicide Register in terms of the experience of recording suicide attempts in Tyumen for the years 2012-2020. It has been shown that the introduction of the registration system contributed to a significant increase in the efficaciousness of detecting suicidal self-harm. Analysis of the situation in Tyumen attests to the fact that altering the organizational principles of the detection system makes it possible to increase the number of patients who receive psychological support in the post-suicidal period, which ultimately has a positive effect in terms of declining suicide mortality rates in the region. © 2021, V.
