Abstract

A 57-year-old female was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) after an attempted suicide with fampridine. She was comatose and experienced multiple seizures. Moreover, during her ICU stay she developed rhabdomyolysis and acute kidney injury. To our knowledge, this is one of the few case reports on attempted suicide by an auto-intoxication with fampridine. © 2021, Netherlands Society of Intensive Care. All rights reserved.
