Abstract

OBJECTIVES: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To assess the effects of psychosocial or pharmacological interventions for self-harm (SH) compared to comparison types of care (e.g. treatment as usual, routine psychiatric care, enhanced usual care, active comparator, placebo, alternative pharmacological treatment, or a combination of these) for children and adolescents (up to 18 years of age) who engage in SH.
