Abstract

This article reviews the mental health wellbeing of first responders, including how they mentally prepare for a disaster and how they cope with the aftermath once they are home. This article also serves to highlight the overall wellbeing of first responders, including the effect responding to a disaster has on their personal lives. © 2019 Elsevier Inc.
