Abstract

This text states multiple forms of acting out in adolescent clinics. Reine, 14 years-old, hospitalized as a result of intentional self-harm, unconsciously deploys strategies in order to fight off childhood passivity and the trauma linked to incestuous abuses from her mother. Burglary, prostitution, suicide attempt and scarifications are among the young girl's acted manifestations. By understanding self-inflicted body injuries as significant traces, " skin representations " therapy, in transferential dynamics, enables giving back their meaning to acts, to reinject historization. Reine is beginning to free herself from her mother's hold and the confusion between bodies and skins, through the transformation of her inhibited hate and murderous affects. © 2019 Editions Medecine et Hygiene.
