Abstract

The following essays focus on the Law 219/2017 (informed consent and living will) and art. 580 It. penal code (crime of assisted suicide). The authors focus on such issues with different approaches and opinions and give an interesting overviews not only from a juridical (national as well as supranational), but also philosophical and "cultural" - in a broad sense - point of view. In the end, it is possible to stress that the Constitutional Court with judgment n. 207/2018 achieved important and new results, although the judgment itself does not forget the importance of protection of fragile persons due to criminal sanction. © 2019, Tipolito Subalpina.
