Abstract

From time immemorial, India has been an agrarian country and the cows and bulls have been the backbone of our agriculture. A large number of farmers in India depend on animal husbandry for their livelihood. The bull is a domestic animal and commonly reared for farming purposes. Bull horn injuries are commonly found in rural areas. Accidental farmer deaths add burden to farmer's suicides which is a troublesome problem in India now a day. Fatal bull horn injuries are not commonly reported in literature. Hence we are presenting a case report of a farmer who became victim of fatal bull horn injury. © 2018 Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
