Abstract

The psychopathy scale, interpersonal needs questionnaire, suicide capacity scale and explicit behavior problem scale are introduced to test 456 college students. In the meantime, the structural equation model is used to discuss the influence mechanism of college students' psychopathy on suicide attempt in the frame of suicide interpersonal theory. The study shows that: (1) College students' psychopathy has influence on suicide attempt; (2) Belonging frustration, burdensome perception, suicide idea and suicide capacity are intermediary variables; (3) psychopathy of college students influence suicide idea through belonging frustration, and then influence suicide attempt, that is, belonging frustration and suicide idea play the role of chain intermediary. Similarly, psychopathy of college students influence suicidal idea through burdensome perception, which in turn affects suicide attempt, that is, the role of chain intermediary between burdensome perception and suicidal idea. The synergy of intermediate variables in the model supports the suicide attempt model. © 2018 Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association. All rights reserved.
