Abstract

The work's purpose is to extend the model of the attempted crime (art. 56 penal code) to the crime of instigation to suicide, in order to insert it next to the special criminal figure contained in the article 580, I paragraph, last part of the penal code. This interpretative operation ? conducted through the use of the principle of reasonableness (art. 3 Constitution) and, mostly, through the application of an extended notion of offensive principle in abstract ? will give raise to the system of attempted crimes of instigation of suicide, ultimate legal protection against the phenomenon of suicide challenges and, in particular, the Blue Whale Challenge. © 2018 Pisa University Press.
