Abstract

This paper describes spiritual searches of evangelical Christians in the USSR. The sources for analysis are published memoirs and biographical interviews of Soviet believers. For the spiritual searches the next moments are important: extraordinary life circumstances; identity crisis; personal acquaintance with the believers; the problem of choice between different denominations; the conflict with outside environment; feeling of Divine influence.
