Abstract

A case of ligature strangulation where circumstances into the manner of death were doubtful is reported for its rarity. Detailed death scene investigations and autopsy could unravel the mystery posed in this case of ligature strangulation without a knot in the noose. © 2016 South India Medico-Legal Association.
