Abstract

The contemporary debate on the legitimacy of physician-assisted suicide could be deepened from the perspective of moral psychology. In this way it would be possible to expose the 'inner side' of strict normative reflections in this regard which is situated in the acting subject and to contribute at least indirectly to the understanding and reasoning of necessary deontological demarcations, because they are finally underlying the relevant professional rules and codifications of physician treatment scopes. © 2015 Schwabenverlag AG.
