Abstract

Some children or teenagers have theories about suicide which they put into play in a paradoxical game with death. In fact, these theories are also a means of acting out child sexual theories. The act of committing suicide, transformed through this linking process, allows new unconscious desires to emerge in an attempt to self-beget and break free from premature identifications with the figure of a dead person. © L'Esprit du temps.
